Sekure Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your interaction with Sekure, a security-focused Discord bot operated by Surf Online ("we", "us", or "our"). Sekure is a trade name of Surf Online, a company registered in the Netherlands (KvK 42127201). Sekure is built and hosted using Meridian (meridian.surf), a no-code bot hosting platform and another trade name of Surf Online.

These Terms apply when you are a member of a Discord server where Sekure is installed, when you use Sekure commands or features, or when server administrators configure Sekure in ways that affect you. They do not replace Discord's terms or your server's rules. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. Platform terms for Meridian are at the Compliance center.

By remaining in a server where Sekure operates or by interacting with the bot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, leave the server or ask your server administrators to remove Sekure.

Sekure helps Discord server administrators protect communities from abuse, raids, spam, and related security risks. Depending on how administrators configure the bot, features may include join and verification checks, anti-raid protections, automated moderation assistance, link or content screening, warnings, and enforcement actions such as kicks or bans.

Server administrators control which features are enabled and how rules are applied. Surf Online provides the bot and hosting infrastructure; we do not run individual Discord communities or decide server-specific moderation policy unless required by law or to protect the Service.

Sekure is provided free of charge. We may change, limit, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Sekure interacts with Discord through Discord's APIs. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other policies.Surf Online is not a Discord partner or affiliate, and we are not endorsed by Discord Inc.

We are not responsible for Discord outages, policy changes, or actions Discord takes regarding your account or servers.

You agree not to:

• Bypass, disable, or interfere with Sekure security features (including verification, rate limits, or moderation actions).
• Attack, probe, or overload Sekure, Meridian hosting, or related infrastructure.
• Use Sekure to harass others, submit false reports, or automate abuse.
• Violate applicable law, Discord policies, or these Terms.

Report security issues responsibly to security@meridian.surf. Do not publicly disclose exploitable vulnerabilities before we have had a reasonable opportunity to address them.

Sekure is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Surf Online disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate detection of abuse. Automated security tools can produce false positives or false negatives.

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Netherlands, Surf Online is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use Sekure, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version in the Compliance center. Material changes will be reflected in the last updated date. Continued presence in a server using Sekure after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Server administrators may remove Sekure at any time. We may suspend or discontinue Sekure globally or for specific servers if we reasonably believe it is necessary for security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gelderland, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
