Some features require a paid plan or purchase. Plans, limits, and current prices are available on our Pricingpage. We may change our prices with a notice of 30 days' in advance before they apply to your next renewal or new purchase. If you have an active subscription and we change prices of your plan, we will notify you of any price changes via email. If you do not agree to the new prices, you may cancel your subscription at any time.
6.1 Payment methods
All payments involving real-world money are processed by our payment provider. Where offered, you may also pay with wallet credit, gift cards, or promo codes, or similar methods of payment. We do not store full card numbers or any other sensitive payment information in full.
If you purchase paid plans, add real-money wallet credit, or enter payment details in your own name, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or the age at which you may enter binding contracts where you live, or that a parent, guardian, authorized payer, or organization has approved the purchase as required by law.
6.2 Wallet credit
Wallet balance is prepaid credit for our services (subscriptions, hosting, and other in-product purchases we enable). Wallet credit cannot move between accounts, be cashed out, or be withdrawn to a bank or card unless otherwise permitted by law. It does not earn interest and we may reduce balance if the payment that funded it is refunded, charged back, reversed, or otherwise invalidated.
6.3 Gift cards and promo codes
Gift cards and redemption codes, when available, follow terms shown at purchase or redemption (including value, expiry, and eligible plans). We usually cannot replace lost, stolen, or misused codes unless required by law or we can verify unused value. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
6.4 Donations and tips
We may offer donations, tips, or similar payments where no benefit is provided in return, checkout will state what you are paying for. Unless we document a separate payout product, do not treat Meridian as a bank, escrow, or payment institution. Fees, tax, and any refund rules appear at checkout. Chargebacks on these payments may lead to wallet or feature adjustments under section 6.2.
Paying with wallet or gift credit still counts as payment under this section, including consumer withdrawal rules where they apply. If you are a consumer in the EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar rules, you may have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, subject to local law.
6.5 Refunds and consumer withdrawal
Nothing in these Terms limits refund or withdrawal rights you have under mandatory law.
If you buy as a consumer in the EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar rules, you may have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, subject to local law.
Paid hosting and digital features start when you subscribe. Where the law allows, you may lose the withdrawal right once performance begins if you ask us to start during the withdrawal period and confirm that you understand the right may end when service starts. We collect that confirmation at checkout when available (for example through an explicitLly unchecked confirmation). If you do not agree, we may delay paid hosting until the withdrawal period ends or refuse the order if immediate start is essential to the product.
After a valid waiver, or where withdrawal does not apply, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or at our discretion. We do not offer voluntary prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period after paid service has started and any applicable withdrawal right has ended or does not apply, because we reserve hosting capacity directly when paid access begins.
Free tier use is not a paid distance contract. Paid upgrades and add-ons are separate purchases under this section. Mid-cycle upgrades bill on the schedule shown at checkout or in your account; refunds follow this section and any applicable mandatory law.
6.6 Cancellation and non-payment
You may cancel a subscription in your account settings. This does not end your payment obligations, if you cancel a subscription you will still be charged for the remainder of the current billing period. Paid access continues through the end of the current billing period unless mandatory law requires otherwise. If payment fails or your account stays overdue, we may suspend hosting at our complete discretion.
6.7 Payment disputes and chargebacks
If something looks wrong on a billing statement, contact us before opening a card dispute so we can try to fix it quickly. If a dispute or chargeback is opened, we may pause paid features or the account while we review, especially when keeping service live would create clear loss. A single chargeback does not automatically mean permanent termination. After review, we may restrict or close accounts where we find friendly fraud, repeated abusive disputes, or clear misuse of the dispute process. We will notify you when practicable. Good-faith bank or network disputes alone are not automatic grounds for a permanent ban.
